This is our second Three Trees (tiny book) Book Club meeting. We will chat about the hilarious (and quite dark) tiny book “An Elderly Lady Is Up To No Good” by Helene Turston. There will be snacks and drinks. Bring your friends - we’ll make room! Psst… book club attendees also get 10% off everything in the store on the meeting day. Woot.
As part of Burien’s first ever First Fridays Art Walk - themed “Sip Into Summer” - Three Trees Books will be hosting local artist and children’s book author Alexis St. John at the shop. She’ll be signing her gorgeous books and giving tours of her art that will be hanging on our walls. We’ll also have free cold drinks, snacks and live music! Join the fun. It’s all free and open to the public!!
In a lucid dream, the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming. Learn about the art of lucid dreaming in eastern and western cultures. Find out how lucid dreams can enrich our lives, help us problem-solve, and even bring us to enlightenment. The workshop includes practical techniques to induce lucid dreams, and improve dream recall in general.

We are so excited to host our first ever Three Trees (tiny) Book Club meeting Thursday, May 2nd at 6pm. There will be drinks and bites, but feel free to bring your favorites to share.
This month’s book is “We Should All Be Feminists” by Chimimanda Ngozi Adichie. If you need a copy we’ve just gotten a handful more at the store, so stop by anytime to pick one up.
If you can’t make the meet-up (or even if you can), join us for book chatter in our Book Club Facebook group: facebook.com/threetreesbooks. Just ask to join and I’ll approve you as soon as I can.
Can’t wait to see you all there!
Join us for our official (tiny book) book club launch party! Feel free to show up anytime between 4-7pm Saturday March 30th. There will be adult and kid-friendly snacks and drinks, general merriment, and we’ll announce our first (tiny) book club selection. Can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Want to be in the book club but can’t make the launch party? Just email Ingrid - firstname.lastname@example.org - to let her know.
We are so thrilled to be hosting the fabulous Wax On Workshop (WOW), a ring-making class led by Vashon Island based jewelry maker and metal-smith Cat McCadden. I’ve taken this class twice before and have two gold rings (one with a diamond chip!) to show for it. You will love this relaxing, fun, creative workshop.
Get your ticket (which includes all materials and a solid silver ring): https://bit.ly/2NJVmEK
Limited seating because we are a small space, so round up some friends and book it soon!
