our roots

Hello! My name is Ingrid Miller, co-owner of Three Trees Books with my husband Tim Miller. We are (relatively) new Seahurst residents and we LOVE it here.

Three Trees is a small independent bookstore, offering a curated collection of new books from a variety of genres, but the biggest collections in stock will be local authors, award-winning literary fiction, memoirs, cookbooks and other inspiring (and tested) “how to” books (parenting, body, mind, spirit and business).

We have a growing collection of classic and new children’s books at the front of the store in the seating area, so kids can page through while the grown ups browse the rest of the shop.

We also sell a selection of specialty goods, such as linen aprons from Japan, jewelry from a Vashon Island artist, and little happy monks from The Suburban Monk. I’m sure the collection of goods will grow over time, but this is just our starting roster.

We firmly believe that servicing your personal reading wants and needs is paramount, so let us know your interests and we’ll order anything up for you.

It’s a small space, but we hope to host regular events - book clubs, readings and community meetings. Let me know if you’re interested in hosting an event in the space!

I will personally be in the store on the weekends, and my husband Tim (and to-be-hired PT staff) will be in the store in the regular weekday daytime hours.

Can’t wait to meet you!

Ingrid Miller,
Owner, Three Trees Books
